integrative therapy & ancestral healing practices

There is a space—within us and between us— where imagination, insight, and new possibilities begin to form. It is a liminal space, often subtle and unseen, but powerful and full of potential. It is where the conscious and unconscious meet, inform each other, and our capacity to feel, relate, and evolve begins to expand.
When we learn to trust this inner territory, we become more whole, more aware, more creative, and more alive.

find your way, find your medicine
Throughout my life I've found that the ways of healing, self discovery, and homecoming are as diverse as we are. I’ve had the honor and privilege of witnessing people of all genders and walks of life overcome the unimaginable, and rekindle their strength by speaking truth, reclaiming their place in the web of life, and by being open to the ebbs and flows of their path. I’ve seen many people find what they’ve been missing in unconventional ways, in unexpected places, and in the most simple and extraordinary ways.
Search for what reminds you that you belong, here, to this life.
my approach
I combine key elements from psychology, psychoanalysis, dreamwork, sacred plant medicines, and ancestral traditions. When these practices unite, they strengthen, inform each other and allow the unconscious mind with all its potential to be revealed. It can help you nurture, enrich and deepen your relationship to self, others, ancestors, and the Land.
It is a wholesome way of understanding the intrinsically connectedness in the web of life. It rests in the understanding that we are a continuum of body, mind, soul, community and environment. It puts at the forefront our inherent worthiness for love, compassion, understanding, and belonging.
At the core, it is a relational, ancestral, experiential, non pathologizing process that rests in the cognizance that we are a self-organizing system with the capacity to hold complexity, uncertainty and the nuances of life and the human experience.
ASPEN PSYCHEDELIC SYMPOSIUM 2024
This event was recorded on June 1, 2024 at the Wheeler Opera House, in partnership with Aspen Public Radio, Aspen Psychedelic Resource Center, and Healing Advocacy Fund.
Next year, Colorado will become the second state in the country, after Oregon, to introduce a state-regulated therapeutic access model for psilocybin mushrooms. This panel explores opportunities and challenges, probing what’s possible as communities seek to ethically integrate legal access to psychedelic healing.
Featuring Joshua Kappel, JD; James Eshleman; Claudia Barfoot, LPC, LMHC; and Rebecca Martinez; moderated by Tasia Poinsatte.
"The inner life that Jung described is the secret life we all lead, by day and night, in constant companionship with our unseen, unconscious, inner selves. When human life is in balance, the conscious mind and the unconscious live in relationship. There is a constant flow of energy and information between the two levels as they meet in the dimension of dream, vision, ritual and imagination."
