Claudia Barfoot is an Integrative Mental Health Specialist, with a Doctorate degree in Psychoanalytic Clinical Practice, and a Master’s in Mental Health and Wellness. She is also an Ancestral Healing Practitioner, integrating indigenous cosmologies and wisdom into her practice, as well as a dedicated advocate for natural medicine.

At the Land of Possible, she merges western theories of the psyche with indigenous systems of knowledge to facilitate growth, and healing. Claudia strongly believes personal growth and healing is an active process of self discovery, self acceptance, self love, and mindful actions that require openness to the paradoxes of life, curiosity, compassion and commitment.

Throughout 20 year of direct work as a psychodynamic psychotherapist and trauma informed mental health professional, Claudia has guided clients to honor their truth, to allow all of who they are to belong, and to let their self discovery transform their lives with integrity, and the lives of those around them. With the same gravitas, her 23 years of exploration, apprenticeship and practice of ancestral ways of knowing, healing, and the ethical use of natural medicine, has provided Claudia with enough roadmaps to help others navigate their internal world and its depths, their relationship to the outer world, and enhance their spiritual lives.
